Dear friends and supporters of ICARUS!

Before you rush off into a well deserved weekend, allow us to forward an invitation to answer a survey on the topic of access and usability of archives.

Your ICARUS-team

(sorry for cross posting)

Survey on Access to Archives

This call goes out to all archival members of the ICARUS network, inviting you to share your experience in dealing with (physical and virtual) users of your respective archives and how/if you assess the researchers’ satisfaction level and address potential deficiencies.

About the author of the survey:

Ms Codruta Mihailovici (archivist-palaeographer, National Archives of Romania) is a PhD student (3rd Bologna Cycle) in Law and Administrative Sciences at the National University of Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest. Her Doctoral research focuses on the (user) access to archives and with the help of this survey she would be able to frame the Romanian situation into a European context.

So, please take the time (won’t be more than 20-30mins) and share your experience.

All ICARUS community members are most welcome to share their news, updates, events, etc. with us to distribute them further. Just get in touch with our communication team.
