As Spring (or early Summer) is taking over, we’d like to draw your attention to two important events organised by our ICARUS and ICARUS4all communities in early June and a last-minute call for today:

National Archives of Hungary and FamilySearch: “Family Reconstruction with new Technologies”

On Monday, 13 May, starting at 10:00 CEST you’ll have the chance to join the discussion around AI powered genealogical research in an event taking place in the National Archives of Hungary in Budapest. Invited guest speakers are coming from the Archives, FamilySearch as well as Time Machine Organisation and ICARUS (Thomas Aigner).

If you're not just around the corner, rest assured: you can also follow the event via live stream on Microsoft Teams.

ICARUS Convention #32 – registration is open!

We’re all ready and set for our upcoming Convention in Novi Sad!

Thanks to your contributions, our hosts were able to compile a spectacular programme, filling the days between 5-7 June 2024 with inspiring presentations and dedicated sessions, while not leaving out on opportunities for social interactions and getting to know the city and history of Novi Sad and the Vojvodina region.

ICARUS4all spring excursion – 1 June 2024

Accompanying our friends’ association’s new president Peer Boselie on his first day of retirement from the city and regional archives Sittard-Geleen, the ICARUS4all community is invited to visit Sittard,one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands.
